• February 3, 2008  Joe Cooke  Advice from the end of a rope

Somewhere in your life, either in business, finances, personal relationships or health, you have been or will be at the end of your rope - the place where you feel you can't go on.  Where do you go when that dark feeling of despair feels like it might overwhelm you?

Author, speaker and entertainer Joe Cooke shares stories and advice from some likely (and unlikely) places.

 

Joe Cooke holds a juris doctorate and a master's degree in business and taxation, but is best known as an author, entertainer and speaker.  He has written dozens of articles for national magazines on travel, business and marketing, pregnancy and childbirth, and spirituality, as well as several award-winning short fiction and non-fiction works.  His longer works include the spiritual fantasy Elysen - set in a bleak world of the far future, and his self-improvement book Take it up a Notch.  He is a Competent Toastmaster nearing completion of his Professional Speaker designation, and he speaks regularly at Unity and New Thought churches in the area.  He is the music director for the Walla Walla Unity Church of Peace and lives in Walla Walla with his wife and three children.

Barbara is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, a minister in the Universal Life Church in California and a recent graduate of the Unity School of Christianity Licensed Teacher Program. She is the current Spiritual leader of the Unity Church of Peace.

This is the month that we focus on relationships, on love, and we'll be looking at how to do what we know to do to have a life of love.

 

Pat Richmond is a Science of Mind Practitioner who joins us monthly from the Center for Positive Living - Tri Cities Church of Religious Science.
